The history of our area is rich and paced with intrigue. Our sandy shores are like a living museum of maritime tales, pirate legends, and rugged survival. Our shores are known as the “Graveyard of the Atlantic” because of the countless shipwrecks off our coast.
We are very aware of our local history which is why you can find items on our menu which reflect it. Our Acai bowl named “Blackbeard Treasure” is a wink to this bygone era. This bowl contains an Acai base topped with Granola, Fresh Strawberries, Blackberries, Banana, Honey. It is truly delicious.
In case you don’t know, Blackbeard, born Edward Teach (or possibly Thatch), was an infamous pirate gained a reputation as one of the more fierce pirates of the 18th century. He regularly seized ships and plundered cargo all up and down the east coast.
Our beaches are a very popular tourist destination in the summer. People come from all over to enjoy our sandy beaches, wild horses, and amazing sunrises and sunsets. Speaking of sunsets, check out our “Sunset Bowl”. It is made using an Acai base topped with Dark Chocolate drizzled over Strawberries, Banana, Peanut Butter and Granola. Or try the “Ocean Breeze”. This bowl is an Acai base topped with Granola and includes Fresh Blueberries, Strawberries, Banana, and Honey.
In the mood for a green smoothie packed with vitamins and nutrients? Check out our “Gulf Stream Delight”. It contains Grapes, Banana, Pineapple, Apple, Mangoes and Spinach.
