Wild Berry Smoothies
This type of smoothie packs real flavor and has a ton of vitamins and other good stuff. It will do a decent job at filling you up for a bit and is a good smoothie if you are an active type person.
This smoothie wil take about ten minutes to prepare. Two glasses is the recommended serving size and that equates to about 370 total calories.
1/2 cup frozen blackberries
1 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup wild blueberries
1/2 cup raspberries
1 cup low-fat Greek yogurt
1 cup pineapple chunks
1 cup fresh orange juice
1/2 cup ice cubes
Creamy Banana Smoothie
Bananas are always great for smoothies because they are sweet, full of potassium and bananas are easy to keep around the home.
This serving is one 16 oz, cup and it is about 300 calories:
1 banana
1/2 orange, peeled and quartered
1/3 cup Greek yogurt
1/4 cup water or milk (dairy or non-dairy)
1 to 2 teaspoons honey, optional
Cream and Berry
Tasty and smooth, the creamy berry smoothie is out of this world. This one is more of a treat than a health snack. It comes in at over 500 calories.
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1/2 cup frozen blackberries
1/2 cup milk
