The kids are back in school and the temperature has cooled some. The tourists, for the most part, are back to their regular lives. But that doesn’t mean that the fun stops in the Outer Banks.

Outer Banks Seafood Festival

This event celebrates the seafood heritage and community of the Outer Banks. Check out the Outer Banks waterman and learn about their trade. There will be food and drinks for just $1 each. There is a $5 entrance fee.

Capital City Four Wheelers Surf Fishing Tournament
October 19 -20
Surf fishing at its finest. Cruise the beaches on four-wheelers and fish the waters.

7th Annual Roanoke Island Maritime Museum Wooden Boat Show
Saturday October 26, 2019
9am -5pm
Check out this totally free event. If you are into wooden boats this event is for you. Exhibiting boats will be judged and awards will be given.
